Latte's back in the game after being on hiatus for four years!
|
After four years of just "being a dog" Latte has finally stabilized enough with her epilepsy to once again play her favorite game of agility. She hasn't had a seizure now for over two years so I started her back lightly into the game once again. Latte is extremely driven and loves running, playing tug, and jumping. I have her entered in CPE as an enthusiast so that she only has to jump 12" and we are just taking it slowly as it is all for fun. She loves it and is having a GREAT time as you can tell by her photos below! What a good little girlie she is!!

| Latte is currently on a break from agility. She developed Canine Epilepsy in August of 2007 and we have been working through her drug prescreptions, homeopath solutions and she has had a really difficult time adjusting. As of December 2009 we are finally starting to see an improvement in the amount of seizure frequency and intensity. Our goal for her is to have more good days then bad. She may never be the agility dog that I had hoped to have, but I love her dearly and will enjoy every moment that I am able to and will help her live the fullest and best life that she is able - however we have to do it. |
